Okay, Apple pay is using your wallet app to pay for something. Apple cash is an option in your wallet to pay for an item. You double tap side button and swipe to Apple cash as a payment options. Double tap to pick it.. or choose another option to pay.

I didn’t have any trouble with my card so it wasn’t that. what was going on there? I want to be able to use Apple Pay without that kind of interference as I have in the past. thanks.
