To send, simply paste the file into the email. There are several ways to save attachments and the type matters. However, the universal way would be to go to the file menu in an email and look for the save attachments option. Additionally, if it's an audio file you can tab to the play button and do the shortcuts menu on the play button. If it's a text attachment, VO end to the bottom and shortcuts menu on the attachment.
