Call me stupid, but I am not really sure what your question is and I am at a disadvantage as I don't use vo on a regular basis. In iBook if you tap at the top of a page I'm told that the entire will be read. The vo will read paragraphs one at a time. The iPad is neat but it will take you a little time to get acclimated. Will assist in whatever fashion I can. Good luck with your new device.
