I recently needed to have my Mac mini hard-drive replaced. I’m now having a problem with some of the basic VoiceOver features; for instance, <VO>+<F8> does not bring up the VoiceOver configuration screen. Also, QuickNav is not working in web sites.
I called Apple support and was advised to re-install MacOS; I was instructed to press <COMMAND>+<R> during reboot to initiate the re-installation process. This did not work for me.
