Not sure about “uploading”, but you can easily send a download link by doing the following:
1. Place the file you wish to share in the Dropbox folder in the Home folder on your Mac. 2. Place focus on the folder, and open the shortcut menu. 3. From the shortcut menu, select Copy Dropbox Link. 4. Paste the link in an email message, and send it to whomever you wish to share the file. Note: To make the share as simple as possible, change the last character in the pasted URL from a 1, to a zero.
