You can blame Apple for that problem.
When they move to next phone and drop one on the update list. That phone
will get one last update. That update kills the battery.
My brother replaced the battery in a iPhone 6 with new battery, and it
still says the same for the battery and dies every night.
My 4s wont even take a charge, iPod 4gen has to stay plugged in or its
dead, and iPhone 8 states at 75%, but still dies even if turned off.
Apple don't want anyone reusing there phones for anything but a phone now.
