Two things. First, make sure you are updated to the latest Zoom as that seems to have finally stopped the problem for me at least. The only other work around I have found is to turn off VO for a couple minutes and then turn it back on. You will hear announcements while it is off, but they should go away once back on. Also, unless your group uses it,, if you can get the admin to disable the chat feature in meetings, that will make all those announcements go away. They will find that option in the advanced meeting settings.
