Several of the keyboard commands described in this article are incorrect, or at the very least. inaccurately explained.
For example: 1. The command CMD + Tab, does not cycle through open windows. Rather, the command cycles through open/running applications on your Mac. A running application can have multiple open windows. Pressing CMD + Tab, does not cycle through open windows within a running application, as does ALT + Tab in the Windows OS environment. Pressing CMD + Accent, will cycle between open windows within a running application. 2. The command CMD + H, does not hide/minimize the currently open window on your Mac. This command will hide the currently focused application, and all of its open windows. If you want to minimize the currently focused window within a running application, you should use the command CMD + M, which will minimize the current window to the Dock. A minimized window can be restored by locating the window on the Dock, and pressing Enter, or while in a running application, accessing the Window Chooser, by pressing CMD + F2 twice, and selecting the desired window from the list of open application windows, and then pressing Enter. 3. Similarly to above, the command OPT + CMD + H, does not minimize all open windows, other than the currently focused window. This command will hide all running applications, and their open windows, while leaving the current application, and all of its windows open on the desktop.
