Hi all,

We have been using Wemo smart plugs in our house.  I chose Wemo because the app 
is mostly accessible, which, as Janina pointed out the other day, is about as 
good as it gets for much of the smart home technology.  We recently bought two 
new outlets to replace two that repeatedly disappeared from the network.  We’ve 
spent the past hour trying to scan the QR code for the first one with no luck.  
My sighted husband has been trying to scan the code in the instructions, and I 
have also tried holding the phone near the outlet, as per the instructions.  
Neither has worked.  I’m pretty fed up with Wemo right now.  
1. Does anyone know how to resolve the QR code issue?
2.  Alternatively, is there another smart outlet that anyone has had good luck 
with?
