I upgraded to the latest OS on the weekend and since that time the notification for Google continues come up. It wants me to give my username and password for my Google account in the Internet accounts section of user settings. However, I do not have an account there. If I try to add one, I am told I must authenticate by logging into my account on the web. When I try to do that I am told I am already signed into my google account. I can not sign out no matter how often I try, it seems I am permanently signed in. I hope someone can tell me what to do. My brain will explode soon!
