Hi,

Just a slight health warning. I've experienced an issue on two different
iMacs (both different vintage and spec) where after the update to 10.6.3 I
got the "spinning ball of death". I needed to switch off, reboot in "safe"
mode. I then did a disk check, and repaired a few permissions. Oddly
enough, it worked fine on my MBP.

Trawling through other Mac user forums it seems to be an issue that's quite
prevalent. Apple might just have dropped the ball slightly on this one.

Cheers

Dónal

get to doing a software update until this morning.

nothing else. Do I need to do something special to get the OSX update or did
it happen without me noticing? What is the new version number so I can check
it in the About box?
