Hi, Just a slight health warning. I've experienced an issue on two different iMacs (both different vintage and spec) where after the update to 10.6.3 I got the "spinning ball of death". I needed to switch off, reboot in "safe" mode. I then did a disk check, and repaired a few permissions. Oddly enough, it worked fine on my MBP.
Trawling through other Mac user forums it seems to be an issue that's quite prevalent. Apple might just have dropped the ball slightly on this one. Do I need to do something special to get the OSX update or did it happen without me noticing? What is the new version number so I can check it in the About box? > > Sorry for being a pest, > cdh > , > > -- > You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "MacVisionaries" group. > To post to this group, send email to macvisionar...@googlegroups.com. > To unsubscribe from this group, send email to macvisionaries+unsubscr...@googlegroups.com. > For more options, visit this group at http://groups.google.com/group/macvisionaries?hl=en. > -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "MacVisionaries" group.
