Donna, It exclusively has to do with headphone audio volume, so no matter how you set the speaker volume, that doesn’t make any difference. Assuming you’re on iOS 16, Go to Settings > Sounds and Haptics, and double-tap the Headphone Safety button. iPhone has a way to tell if you’ve had headphone audio too loud, that’s why you get any warnings. You can, in fact, change iPhone’s way of thinking, I remember doing it once a long time ago but don’t remember exactly. I think it’s somewhere in the Health app. Maybe someone can chime in to take it the rest of the way.
