Ben: Thanks a lot. Your suggestion worked. I had tried to extract the r00 file earlier but I was using the traditional way of browsing he file and extracting it in UnRarX, This wasn't working because UnRarX was looking specifically for a .rar file. I googled around and found out that you can drag and drop the .r00 file into the UnRarX window and voila, that worked!
