Tim,
I'd never noticed this App Library thing before. Good to know about
this. Appreciate the info!

Hi,
The App Library instances are important, so you should not get rid of
them. I’m not certain that it will even let you get rid of it. Items
that are folders, are items that you’ve created yourself, whereas the
App Library instances are where the specific app, such as Pages, likes
to save its content. These App Library items are accessible to all your
devices that are using iCloud Drive and have that app enabled for iCloud
Drive. If there’s stuff inside the Pages folder that is just a folder,
you can copy and paste it into the App Library version and delete that
folder version of Pages.
I hope this makes sense.

In iCloud Drive I have a few apps among which are two instances of
Pages. One is a folder, the other is App Library. Is that related to
the iPad? Can I get rid of that and let the iPad have access to the
first instance of Pages?
There are 2 or 3 other apps that have App Library next to them but
there is only one of each of those. Just curious.
Thanks.
