I have the same problem. I'm on an older Mac and not on an M1. I also cannot VO space or VO Shift M on the DropBox menu extra. I have to rout the mouse pointer to the VO Cursor and VO Shift Space to perform a mouse click to get into DropBox options. It's tricky after that but I can eventually get into DropBox settings, but I still have not found a way to find out upload progress.
