After getting a new Mac Air and setting it up, my partner has a couple of minor issues. First of all, what are people using as a simple text editor that has a few more features than Text Edit, such as being able to get a word count, but is not as complex as Pages? iText Express was her go-to editor, but it does not work with the new Air and/or OS.
Also, she can’t get rid of the Google login screen. The computer is logged into the Google account, but the request to log in with the username and password will not go away. Any thoughts would be appreciated. She did try going back into System Preerences and to Internet accounts and attempt to log back in, but it is not letting her do this.
