Hi,

After pressing ctrl-cmd-space, press VO-cmd-t to quickly get to the table of
options, then interact with this table. YOu’ll hear each category twice. The
first one is the heading and the second is the collection within that category.
So, if I was in the table, used VO-right to navigate within the table, I”d
hear Frequently Used, then Frequently Used once again, then each category
twice. Let’s say I navigate to Smileys & People, interact with the second
announcement of Smileys & People, I’ll now get all the smileys and such
available in this category. I can navigate through the various emoji’s in this
grouping and once I get to the one I want, just VO-space on it and it will be
inserted at your cursor location. For fun, I’ll drop one right after this
sentence. 💩

If you know the name of the emoji, you can enter it into the search field and
you’ll narrow it down so that you have much less to choose from.

HTH.

Later…
