Guys, My wife and I are about to buy new MBPs. Before we do that, we have a lot of housekeeping to do. One of the things I’ve noticed is that, while we are on the same wireless network at home, my wife can see more computers on her network than I can. Specifically, she can see both my Windows DAW and the Mac mini from which I am writing this post. I, on the other hand, can’t see her computer or even my Mac mini from the Windows machine. I can only see my Windows machines from my Mac or Windows machine (not hers at all,) even though I’m sure we’re on the same wireless network with the same router and network PW.
I’m wondering if I can export some network profile she has and import it so I can have the same visibility she does. If I’m completely barking up the wrong tree, please let me know.
