Hi,

You’re partway there.  After enabling File Sharing, stop interacting with the 
table and navigate to the Options button, press it.  In here you can enable 
sharing with smb.  That should do it, although it is recommended that you 
actually only share specific folders instead of the entire drive as smb sharing 
is not as secure as one might like.
