Hello Lorie, I completely agree with you; I always buy any song that I like, for the same purpose as you described.
Also like you, I experience nothing but frustration when searching for songs on Amazon, these days. It's quite a shame because, once upon a time, Amazon made it so easy to search, sample, and purchase music. However, like Apple, Amazon wants people to subscribe to its music service rather than purchase music. While I have purchased many television episodes, series, and movies from iTunes, it has been over 12 years since last I purchased a song from Apple. I like to have it in my computer and put it wherever else I want it. I looked up an album I want on Amazon and I just can't figure out that system any more. it's got so much clutter the only thing I can't find in there is what I'm looking for. it's just amazing how convoluted it has become. is there anything that can be done to make it more manageable on a Mac? so then I looked up this album on iTunes using my phone. I found it pretty quickly and could read all the song titles but I don't know how to buy it. I couldn't find a "buy" button or anything of that sort. could this be done on my Mac? is it easier now that osx has separated music from movies podcasts and books? thanks.
