I went into Googles IMAP server settings and changed my preferences on deletions/expunging. This might help, though i remember when I initially made changes here, it was because I accidentally deleted something and had no way to restore it. I'll see if the recently deleted items ends up in Google's bin or if it disappears completely. Jonathan
