It is true that it is much less convenient to dictate under Watch OS8. What I do, once I am done dictating, is one finger double tap, swipe once to the right and one finger double tap again. Not sure what I’m tapping on, but that stops dictation and then I can swipe left until I get back to the text field so I can review what I have dictated.
Sometimes, when I one finger double tap, the message just sends automatically. Not sure why as VoiceOver is pretty quiet at that time. The nice thing about this annoyance is that you can then add emogees to your message, if desired.
