Hello,
Take a look at the battery menu and see if any applications are claiming to use 
a large amount of  battery. 
Also, how many windows do you usually have open? I do think the new Safari 
browser works better with the new OS, and have noticed some degradations in 
performance since it was pushed out with the IOS 15 release. Hopefully next 
week the final version of Monterey comes out.
