Hello Sarah:
I had the same problem several weeks ago and I resolved it this way.
Under the Mail Preferences, go to the Accounts tab.  Click on the
account you are having the problem with.  Under the 'Mailbox
Behaviors' tab, uncheck the 'Store draft messages on the server'.
This solved my problem completely.
