I always always always forget about VO-Shift-M!

Just an FYI, if you select the message conversation and do VO Shift M, you will
get to delete a whole lot quicker. I think y9ou are correct that they did
switch positions.

After updating from Big Sur 11.2.3 to 11.3, I have noticed two distinct changes
in Messages. One is definite, one is questionable as to whether what I noticed
is real or my imagination.
1. When sending a message either as new or reply, I seem to remember two
controls after the edit field, now there's only one.
2. In the Delete Conversation dialog, I could swear the DELETE button was the last
control before upgrading. Now, DELETE and CANCEL have been swapped. I know this one
virtually for sure because I'm so used to relying on so-called muscle memory to go to the
File menu, open it, down-arrow four times, VO-Space, VO-End, press SPACEBAR to delete the
conversaition. Imagine my surprise when I first tried it after updating, and the
conversation was still there! Of course it was still there--I was pressing CANCEL and
didn't know it! This kind of thing sets my teeth on edge whenever Apple does it. Round
about MacOS version 20 or so, they'll figure out that users want their controls in the
order they want them, and actually let us do that--rearrange the order and presence of
controls in a dialog. Wouldn't that be just wonderful! Getting rid of controls, like the
"Apps" button in Messages that I know I'll never ever want or need, and I won't
have to trip over it any more.
