Hello, Have any listers successfully created a Bigsure bootable backup on an external disk for a 2018 iMac? I used SuperDuper for this for many years on prior Mac/OS releases which have rescued my system on several occasions but this no longer works on Bigsur. I have looked at the Carbon Copy Cloner web site but this also does not seem to easily fix this problem. It seems that I have to first install Bigsur on my backup disk so that I can boot from it, but I am then unclear on whether I can then use SuperDuper or Carbon Copy Cloner to add my latest user data to this external disk say every month or so. The problem seems to be that Apple do not offer an interface for these products to copy the now protected files to allow booting to an external disk. Many thanks for any tips … Paul Hopewell
