Hi all, So I'm eeking out all the things that annoy me during my work using vo on the mac.
I have one sort of last annoyance currently which is sticky, the "selected" announcement overdose. Let me explain, when I'm in group mode, which is sometimes the best method for reading through text with math symbols (converted to math jacks or some other third party symbol conversion tool inherent to most pages generating math symbols), whenever one of the generated symbols is hit, voice over then announces "selected", and optionally emits a tick sound to say what text has been selected. I never asked for this behaviour, and reading through math text is becoming tedious, so I have to copy last sentence and paste it on a text window. I don't want to have to do this as I have enough text windows opened as it is. Anyone know where this behaviour comes from?
