What I'm looking for is something that is very dependable.
Bullet proof if you may! :)
So what software and hardware scanner might you suggest?
I've heard about the Kurzweil reader but thought there must be  something out 
now that does the same job without the Kurzweil price!.
;)Some times you got to pay for that seamless integration!
Just like my Avid Pro Tools hdx rig, it just works!

Also the OCR software plays very nice with the scanner which ever scanner
