These commands will usually work, however a web page developer can bind arrow keys to javascript functions and if they do then by default the way VoiceOver works with arrow keys gets disabled. If you need this, you can turn arrow key browsing on in the Web section of VoiceOver utility. Also, when VoiceOver reads a chunk of text when pressing VO-left or right arrow, then usually you can use the interact function until VoiceOver says interacting with text. At this point VO Left/Right will read by word. This will only work until you hit a word chunk of text boundary, at least while Grouping behavior in VO Utility Navigation pane is set to standard If you change it to announce groups, then VoiceOver will switch back to a higher level of navigation for VO-Left//Right when you go past the boundary. I am beginning to think that "Announce groups is the best setting for this not only when using a braille display but also when using Voice.
