I agree. If you also spend the time learning how to take advantage of it, it actually can be very helpful. You can map frequently used commands to it in specific apps and take advantage of double tapping on the command to activate it. I don’t understand why people are freaking out over the feature. It doesn’t take much effort to figure out how to use it and customize it. Google is your friend when it comes to documentation. It’s how I learned to utilize it effectively.
