I contacted them via twitter. I couldn’t do so via cloud flare. My exchange on
there was simply sending them a lot of screen captures of pages that would show
up. I couldn’t direct message them at all. In the end, the go around between
them and me took a grand total of about 10 tweets back and forth. They solved
the issue on their end in about an hour.

Btw, you would have to tweet to @FictionPress in order to get their attention.

Hi Eric,
Part of why i wrote is that others have not gotten such a response.
did you contact ffn on twitter, or cloudflare?
How would you feel about sharing that exchange?
Thanks,
Karen

I already encountered that. I simply took a screen capture and sent them a
picture of it via twitter. After about a dozen or so of these things, I finally
got someone to respond. Once they understood the problem their settings were
causing, they started work on it.

Also, Cloudflare often pops up with something called HPCaptcha. I usually just
go to their login site, set the accessibility cookie and move on. And yes, I
strictly use a Mac here.

Hi everyone,
In December one of the more popular fanfiction sites suffered a ddos attack.
www.fanfiction.net
Afterward, in an understandable panic, they started using cloudflare at its
most extreme settings, including security tests.
In rather a few cases though the captcha is not inclusive, does not even show.
I understand Cloudflare is now working with Apple on security and privacy.
So, for those who have visited fanfiction.net since this change, were you able
to reach the site solving the security test using voiceover?
Its a lost cause in much of Linux even I am told.
My worry is that at some point cloudflare's presence may result in a voiceover
issue.
Thanks,
Karen
