Not sure when this started, but whenever I ask Siri to search google for something, and one of the suggested website results is a youtube link, I run into problems opening and playing the links. 1. when I tap on the search suggestion, instead of going directly to the site/video, I get an “open with” screen. 2. I am presented with the choice of opening with chrome, google, safari, and the “default browser app. No matter which one I select, I get the same error screen. 3. I am brought to YouTube.com, but I get the error message, “our systems have detected unusual traffic from your computer network. Please try your request again later”. Then there is a link named “why did this happen”. 4. Clicking onthat link brings up the following message. "This page appears when Google automatically detects requests coming from your computer network which appear to be in violation of the Terms of Service <https://www.google.com/policies/terms/>. . The block will expire shortly after those requests stop.
This traffic may have been sent by malicious software, a browser plug-in, or a script that sends automated requests. If you share your network connection, ask your administrator for help” 5. However, when I repeat the search from within the google search app there is no problem opening and playing the same YouTube video. Also, as a side note, around the same time as this problem cropped up, I noticed that Siri only returned two or at most three suggested search results instead of the usual 5 or 6 that it used to return. Any ideas as to what might be happening and how I can fix it? I suppose I could just bypass siri and search directly from within google, but I’d like to have the ability to just use Siri. -- The following information is important for all members of the Mac Visionaries list.
