good morning, it really depends on how big the file is. From what I
remember the documentation saying, I do have a focus fifth generation
blue display. You can edit, do whatever you want to with the file so
long is this "30 2K or less" if the file exceeds 30 2K it becomes
read-only. I think the reason why this is is they think that if it's
beyond that size it must be something literary. The other thing that you
may want to check is what version of the firmware are you running? I
think the current firmware version is 55. But I'm sure someone on list
will chime in if I've gotten that wrong. All the joys of not enough coffee.
Please note the above text has been dictated to the computer by means of
dictation software. That means that some things might not have turned
out as originally intended. If there's something that I've written about
that you don't understand, please ask me what my original intent was? I
look forward to clearing up any misunderstandings that may arise as a
result of the above text. Thank you very much for reading this?
Please further note that any positions and or comments I've made above
are truly mine, they do not reflect the views and oppositions of the
national Federation of the blind, or the national Federation of the
blind deaf blind division.

Hi all,
So I'm still on the quest for a braille display. Is it really true that on the
Focus Blue 5th gen, that if you open a BRF file, you cannot edit it?
TIA,
Donna
