I haven't ben on a lot of sites since seeing this message, but I don't believe this is the case. Some sites do put in keyboard handlers that forget to allow default actions for keys they don't use perhaps you are running into that? There is an option in the web area of VoiceOver utility to have arrow keys always use the default VoiceOver method of going down a line in the web site. If you find you are using this function more than VO navigation, then perhaps you want to turn this on at least for a default activity. This would mean that custom dropdown menus and date pickers where the web page developer used javascript key handlers to better navigate that control will not work. Take Care, Jonathan Cohn
