Mhy company started using Teams a couple years ago. It is significantly more 
accessible now and there are some things I can easily do on Macintosh as 
compared to my Windows environment. I however mostly use Teams for chats and 
for audio meetings/calls. 

My favorite keyboard shortcuts:
command-shift-M mute
command N new chat conversation after you list a group or person you have to 
type enter twice before being able to send a message
command-shift-B hang up
command-shift-F move to the filter view area after which you can use arrow keys 
to find matched items.
command-/ puts you in the command line spot 

In the command line area you can type 
/available /away …
You can also type a persons name.
