There might be an easier way but here is what you can do:
1. Create a new blank track.
2. Play the original track until you get to where you want to  insert the 
sentence.
3. Type the letter P to mark that spot.
4. Type Command-Left Arrow. VoiceOver will say, “Extend to previous marker. The 
previous marker. is the beginning of the track in this case.
5.  Type Command-C to copy the selected material.
6. Use Command-V to paste it into the new track.
7. Paste the sentence into the new track.
8. Go back into the original track and place a marker after where the new 
sentence would go  and type Command-Right Arrow. Then copy the file and paste 
it after the sentence.
