Hello, I have always used my TimeMachine backup when doing migrations. If you first set up the machine and then transfer files and applications, you will end up with two accounts, one that is created on system first being opened and one copied over from your old computer. In terms of picking and choosing what to migrate, I have sometimes seen these options and sometimes not. Generally, you can pick which users and sometimes which applications to migrate (it transfers over licenses which is great). If all you are interested in is your iTunes library, I would suggest moving that to an external disk unless you trust iTunes just to do everything right for you over the cloud. Jonathan
