Jason,
You express that Firefox is very accessible under Linux.
Can it be run from a Linux shell or in a command line environment?
I have access to such a shell via dreamhost who hosts my company site providing Ubuntu in shell form. Since as you say Firefox can work any direction for its incorporation in this aspect of Linux?
Cheers,
Karen

I read the article when it was first posted to this list, and I found it

Firefox is highly accessible under Linux and Windows. Mozilla have very capable
accessibility experts, so I am confident that the implementation for Mac will
be of high quality once it’s ready for general use.
