I know this is probably something you’ve done but Have you selected the correct account type? iMap obviously
and then ensure that you have the correct server and ports / encryption type selected? Even selecting the ssl rather than ssl / tls can cause things not to work. Hi, Can you help this is a non vo question but as a windows user of outlook I have been trying to set up an email account on outlook it is an iCloud account (on a windows machine for one of my kids) despite putting in the correct email address and password and checking server settings which mirror those I see on mail in the Mac it won’t accept the account - is their something I need to do that I am missing On 25 Jun 2020, at 00:56, 'Jason White' via MacVisionaries <macvisionaries@googlegroups.com<mailto:macvisionaries@googlegroups.com>> wrote: I just wanted to note that Microsoft Outlook for Mac has been very reliable for me - more so than the Windows version, which crashes too often. If you remember the other day I sent an email of how to set up folders in Windows using Narrator and Jaws when using the ICloud App. Well, I did have outlook on the Mac and I deleted the account to see what would happen as I wasn’t getting all my sub folders as I had set my rules up globally using the ICloud.com<http://icloud.com/> (I go on about it enough as you will all know). So once I added my account to outlook on the Mac, it’s all fixed, my outlook folders are showing on the Mac but unfortunately there are inboxes in it that I will not use. I wonder how I will get rid of them. Some experimenting I will have to do to see if I can delete those unwanted folders. I don’t know why Microsoft have to put in junk inboxes!
