I hope I’m right here in saying that if you buy films from places like the iTunes Store you have them stored in the cloud and you can access them anywhere through your iTunes account. However if you’re doing Netflix you simply watch online. I don’t know what other sources you are using to get your films but it could make a difference. Hope this helps at least a tiny bit. also, whatever you can do on your phone, you can probably do on your iPhone, given that your phone is an iPhone.
