Hi all, refresh my memory, from start up chime to desktop appearing, how long
should that take?

Lately, my little project has been to spruce up my old MBA as much as possible.
I installed clean my mac X and run most of the processes. I have tidied up log
in files.

I just timed my start up and it took 43 seconds. What’s your thoughts on this?
It seems to me, Mac’s with a solid state drive start up much faster, but maybe
I’ve forgotten, or this is the nature of an older machine.

I’ll pay more attention, but I believe the more I use it throughout the day,
the start up improves. ;) This is the first time I timed it officially with a
stop watch.

Thanks for any assistance,
Traci
