I thought it might be worth mentioning, since we're on the subject of cursor routing, that I find one compelling reason to not have the mouse following the VO cursor. I have found that, in several application programs, when the mouse follows the voiceover cursor, Voiceover does not accurately display menu choices in the menu bar. One will often find that, with tracking on, they might see only two or three choices in a menu whereas, with tracking off, there are actually five or six choices there.
