Hi, This is a security thing. The convoluted way that Google and Apple integrate their ecosystems into each other sometimes causes this to rear its ungly head. I haven’t seen it in Catalina, but it was ever-present in Mojave. Occasionally, just following the process got rid of the password requests, but sometimes you end up having to sign out of Google in Internet accounts, then log back in making sure to allow access, enter passwords etc wherever and whenever they’re asked for during the process. Sometimes, that doesn’t work either. There’s references to it on the web with possible work-throughs, but for the most part, it was just a pain in the behind that you had to suffer with.

You may want to go into Safari preferences, then select the Passwords button in the toolbar and see if your Google password has been saved in the list. If not, you may be able to add it to the list. - Brad - On May 22, 2020, at 13:22, Lorie McCloud <lorice...@gmail.com <mailto:lorice...@gmail.com>> wrote: every so often my Mac wants my Google password for my gmail account. this time when I signed into Google it said Safari couldn't open the Mac OS page that was asking for the password.
