Hello Brad, I'm curious if you know of a faster way to join a Zoom
meeting from a link if the Mac user is using Chrome. I wrote a message
about this in another thread here but figured I'd ask you just in case
you didn't see my other message. Currently, you have to stop interacting
with the web page, then VO+Left to the app launcher window, then
interact, then VO+Right to the Open Zoom button. If there is a faster
way that you know of for Chrome users, I'd love some advise. Apparently
this isn't an issue with Safari. Also, Chrome used to allow a check box
to remember zoom URLs, but that has apparently gone away for security
reasons.
Thanks.

Hi Andrew,
I thought the website was pretty straight forward. The link to download
the Zoom client is clearly labeled.
If you navigate to the second heading on the page, which is designated
“Heading Level 2, Zoom Client for Meetings”, then the next link will
download the desktop client for whatever platform you are using.
For your convenience, here is the link you need:
Download <https://zoom.us/client/latest/Zoom.pkg> (Version 5.0.3
(24978.0517))
The other links on the page are Add-Ins and Extensions that are helpful
when scheduling meetings, but are not necessary to join meetings.
Zoom is free to use, but you can choose to upgrade to a Pro account if
you have a need for the higher level features that are provided by this
service.

Could you help a bit further? There are a few Zoom programmes in the
download section of zoom.us <http://zoom.us/> website and I can’t quite
decide which one to go for. Is it a paid service?

I use Zoom on my Macs on pretty much a daily basis. It is extremely
accessible and I find it much easier to use on the Mac than on my
Windows machine.
Zoom is not available from the Mac AppStore, but you can get it for
free from the following link:
There is also an iOS app that is available from the iOS AppStore. It
is also very accessible and easy to use, though not as full featured
as the Mac version.

Andrew,
Yes, you absolutely can use Zoom on the Mac. I don’t remember exactly,
but you can obtain it either from the Mac app store or from the Zoom
website.

Hi,
Can we use Zoom on the mac? Anybody had luck doing so? In this
lockdown situation more and more people are using Zoom.
