What you are probably looking for is the sidebar located before the rewind
button. In the side bar you can change from Listen Now view to Browse, top
charts and library.

Well, the storage is not exactly intuitive.. One of my podcasts is located at:
~/Library/Group
Containers/243LU875E5.groups.com.apple.podcasts/Library/Cache/A67A91B0-FC4E-452B-92BB-1F6E6B2D22A7.mp3
