Hello All, Although I enjoy the free version of the Apple News app on iOS, after posting an article on how to stay up-to-date with the Corona virus outbreak issue, I explored using the Google alerts service, that was mentioned in the article.
Well, as it turned out, the Google alerts work via email and, as you can imagine, the last thing I want is even more emails cluttering up my email Inbox. So, I began to wonder if there was such a thing as a Google alerts app. As far as I know, there is not but there is, I discovered, a Google News app for iOS. I installed it and I must say that I like it a great deal. It seems to be more customizable than the native Apple News app. So, if you have not yet done so, download the Google News app and give it a try.
