Hi Ann,

Only recently returning to list it is so good to see familiar names
posting in supporting each other.

I remember how this group both supported each other with tech but also
behind the tech supported each other’s successe.

I look forward to seeing posts from new and familiar people in this
community.

Currently, My family has two people effected directly. This relates to
tech, One has just been returned to the US and is recovering from COVID19. He
is not out of the woods. The other is healthy but quarantined, in a very small
foreign country near India.

Her life line to the world is her iPhone 7 and iPad. Mostly the
iPhone. She was able to have unlimited data turned on. Without that
communication her life would be very difficult right now. With that iPhone she
is connected to her family and the world.

I have been able to help her with small glitches with the phone but
mainly it is just working well.

This is even more fortunate as I can not say the US embassy has been helpful.

So, tech support and encouragement from this list may become even more
important than we would realize.

Glad to be reconnected to all of you.

I hope all folks traveling have reliable cell phones

And, let's keep the communication options on our Macs ready to go.

Best,

Eric Caron
