Hello Rhanda,

If your macbook air has got Catalina installed, Voiceover has implemented
automatic language switching so theoretically it ought to switch to the
language in which a portion of text is written. It doesn’t always do so in
reality. In voiceover utility which you get to by pressing vo+f8 key
combination, under speech tab, you can add or remove languages and choose
default voice for any language you use. Then you can also manually switch to
various languages by using the key combination vo+command+shift+arrow keys If
you use right or left arrow key with the above combination, you shuffle through
various categories of voiceover you may wish to adjust. One of them is
language. Once you land on it, use up and down arrow with the above
combination to shuffle through various languages. Once you hear the name of the
language you desire, release the keys and the language will be active. Please
note, the greek voice has been broken since High Sierra, and although I’ve been
reporting it for over 4 years, Apple hasn’t fixed it yet. Hopefully you don’t
require Greek. I sadly do.

Hope this helps a little.

Andrew
