Thanks for the key description, I hadn't heard about the contrasting shapes, that may really help to situate one quickly.
And nice to know I'm not the only one who uses the numbers on the main keyboard. The only use I had for the numpad was Jaws related and since I'm giving up Jaws I'd rather not have the extra piece of keyboard.
