As to the smoke, Haven’t seen it myself but I believe the glow and smokieness is noticeable Especially in central otago where I have family staying. As for Australian folks on the list, I know of at least one and I take it that Jerry things are ok where you are? With luck the Australian east coast places such as new south wales and Victoria get given heavy rain for the next month.
